Quinta da Bichinha, set amid the gently rolling hills of Alenquer in the Lisbon region, is a historic wine estate celebrated for its centuries-old heritage and serene, rural charm. In November 2022, Jenny arrived in Portugal and settled in Azambuja, a small town in the most northern district of Lisbon and to the east of Alenquer. In 2023 both James and Jenny spent countless hours flying back and forth between London and Lisbon to see each other – travelling roughly every 2 weeks for a year.

In December of 2023, together they decided to try to get a Digital Nomad visa for James so he could move to Portugal, and have been living in Azambuja together ever since.

After seeing a fiew venues they found Quinta da Bichinha, not far from where they lived and loved it immediately.
